Background

The client

Stellantis is one of the world's largest automotive groups, with a portfolio spanning Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, RAM, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, and more. Across the GCC, their brands are sold and serviced through a network of authorised dealerships operating in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman.

Managing performance across that network, where each dealer runs its own operations, serves different customers, and reports to both local management and regional OEM leadership, is a formidable data challenge. TechnoSignage was brought in to solve it.

The challenge

A network running blind

Before ASASConnect, Stellantis ME and its dealer network were operating with a fundamental information gap. Despite the scale and complexity of the business, there was no unified, real-time view of what was actually happening across the region.

Manual Excel reporting

Every dealer was producing reports by hand. Data was typed, copied, and formatted individually — a slow, error-prone process that consumed significant management time each week.

Reports that were always outdated

By the time a report was compiled, distributed, and reviewed, the data was already days old. Decisions were being made on yesterday's numbers in a market that moves daily.

Data siloed across systems

Sales data lived in one system. Service data in another. Parts, warranty, and financial data each had their own source. No single view brought it all together.

No dashboards at all

Dealers had no visual intelligence tools. There was no way for a dealer principal or GM to open a screen and see the health of their business in a single view.

OEM had no real-time visibility into dealer performance

Regional management at the OEM level could not see which dealers were underperforming, which were at risk, or where to direct support — until it was often too late to intervene effectively.

The solution

ASASConnect: intelligence across every domain

TechnoSignage designed and built ASASConnect from the ground up as a purpose-built intelligence platform for automotive dealer networks. Rather than adapting an off-the-shelf BI tool, the platform was engineered specifically for the operational reality of GCC automotive distribution: multi-brand, multi-country, multi-dealer, and deeply integrated with dealer-level data.

The platform covers seven distinct business domains, each with its own set of dashboards, KPIs, and workflows. Every domain connects to the same underlying data pipeline, giving leadership a unified view while allowing each function to drill into its own operational detail.

01

Sales & CRM performance

Pipeline visibility, lead conversion, sales team performance, and vehicle order tracking across all brands and locations.

02

Aftersales & service operations

Workshop throughput, job card management, technician productivity, and service revenue tracking at dealer level.

03

Parts inventory & ordering

Stock levels, order frequency, obsolescence risk, and fill rate monitoring to optimise parts availability and working capital.

04

Warranty & recall management

Claim tracking, approval status, recall completion rates, and compliance monitoring across the full dealer network.

05

Marketing & campaign tracking

Campaign performance, lead source attribution, and market activation results tied back to sales outcomes.

06

Financial reporting & P&L

Dealer-level financial performance, margin analysis, and regional P&L aggregation for OEM management reporting.

07

Customer satisfaction & NPS

Structured customer feedback, NPS scoring, satisfaction trends, and issue escalation tracking to close the loop between experience and operations.

Technical architecture

How the data flows

One of the most significant technical challenges of the project was connecting data from 20–50 dealerships operating across six countries, each running its own systems and processes, without requiring dealers to change how they work.

TechnoSignage built a proprietary ETL pipeline that handles the entire data ingestion, validation, and transformation process automatically, with zero manual effort from dealers after initial setup.

1

Dealer data export via SFTP

Dealers share operational data files through a secure SFTP connection. The process is automated on the dealer side: no manual uploads, no intervention required. Each dealership transfers data on a defined schedule regardless of which internal systems they use.

2

Proprietary ETL ingestion and validation

TechnoSignage's built-in ETL engine receives incoming files, validates data structure and quality, flags anomalies, and transforms raw dealer data into the standardised ASASConnect data model. This layer handles inconsistencies across dealers automatically.

3

Daily refresh across all dashboards

Every dashboard across all 7 domains refreshes daily. Management and dealer users start each morning with a current, accurate view of performance, without waiting for a report to be compiled or emailed.

4

Role-based access across 50+ dashboards

Each user role, from dealer GM to OEM regional director, sees the dashboards and data relevant to their function. Views are scoped by dealer, country, brand, or region depending on the user's access level.

Deployment scope

Full regional coverage from day one

ASASConnect was deployed across the entire Stellantis ME footprint, covering every country in the region and the full brand portfolio. The platform was designed to scale across this complexity from the outset, not retrofitted to accommodate it.

Outcomes

What changed after go-live

Following 12–18 months of development and a structured rollout across the GCC, ASASConnect delivered measurable operational change across the dealer network and at OEM level. The platform remains in active production today, a strong indicator of adoption, reliability, and sustained business value.

Reports eliminated, insight automated

Manual reporting that previously consumed days of management time per week was replaced by dashboards that refresh overnight. Teams stopped building reports and started acting on them.

Underperforming dealers identified faster

OEM regional management gained the ability to spot dealers falling behind on KPIs in real time, enabling proactive intervention weeks earlier than previously possible.

Sales performance visibility at every level

From individual sales executive to regional director, each level of the organisation gained a clear, current view of pipeline, conversion, and revenue against target.

Parts inventory brought under control

Dealers gained live visibility into stock levels, order status, and at-risk parts, reducing both overstock and stockout situations across the network.

Warranty processing accelerated

Claim tracking and approval workflows became visible across the system, reducing processing time and improving compliance rates on recall campaigns.

Customer satisfaction measurable and actionable

NPS and satisfaction data was integrated into the same platform as operational data, allowing management to connect customer experience trends to specific operational causes.

Who uses it

Built for every role in the business

ASASConnect was designed not as an executive reporting tool but as an operational platform used daily at every level of the dealer network and OEM organisation. Each user role has access to dashboards and views appropriate to their function and decision-making scope.
